Panther CrossFit is a student organization at Pitt. We started as a couple guys just going to the gym together and we grew from there. We follow the CrossFit methodology of training, which entails high intensity workouts . We usually follow the main site's prescribed WOD (Workout Of the Day), but occasionally we might change it up. The workouts are brutal but somehow we have fun doing them. Look at the pictures and the WODs posted to get a get a feel for what we are all about. We are at the gym 6 days a week, and the club "meetings" are held every Saturday and Sunday at 1pm where announced. Stop by and check it out.

Doing the 2nd portion of my WODs around 330-345 at the intramural football fields. It involves shuttle runs & a sandbag if anyone is interested.

Morning: On the minute, ascending DL ladder (1-2-3-..10) @ 70% 1RM (285lb). Then find 8RM weighted chin ups (25lb, 45lb, 60lb)
Part two. At the intramural football fields.
1-2-3-4-5-6...10: 70lb sandbag clean
In between each round, run 30yds out, 30yd back, 60yds out, 60yds back.
30yd line is midfield, 60yd is full length.
